A note from the owner
I opened this shop wanting it to be more than a place to grab your next read, I wanted it to be somewhere people actually gather. Eleven book clubs later, that's exactly what's happened, and every one of them has its own personality: the RedRum crowd who show up for Stephen King no matter the weather, the Fourth Tuesday regulars who've never missed a Romance meeting, and everybody in between.
If you've never been to one of our clubs, here's the honest truth: half the room usually hasn't finished the book either. Come anyway, grab a coffee, and see where the conversation takes you.

Every club meets in person at A Novel Idea Bookshop, 116 W Oklahoma Ave, most on a weeknight or weekend afternoon once a month. Exact dates and times for each club are listed below.
We're proud to be the gathering spot for readers across Logan County, and we regularly get folks driving in from Edmond and Oklahoma City for a good book club. If you're one of them, welcome, grab a seat.
How to Join
A few things to know:
- Registration required. Please complete the registration form before attending a book club.
- Grab the book. Buy it here or bring your own copy from wherever.
- Show up. All meetings are here at the shop, 116 W Oklahoma Ave, Guthrie.
- Talk books. No pressure to have finished it. Come for the conversation either way.
